Tranquil is an image I’ve had in my mind for a while now. I’m glad I got a chance to paint it. It focus a lot of balance in life. Life and death. calmness in uncertainty. Peace and turmoil. I’ve painted her being very still in the image. Unsure weather she’s alive or dead. The sunlight hitter her and the stark shadows that trail behind. Half submerged in water, slowly sinking or slowly awakening. Its all about the uncertainty.
